Media Practitioner & Philanthropist
Naren joined the media industry in 1991 and under his leadership at Primesight he floated the outdoor advertising business on the London Stock Exchange in 1997, and in 1999 sold Primesight to STV plc.
In 2007, Naren completed a management buyout of Primesight and then grew the business through acquisitions and organic development making Primesight one the leading and most successful brands in the media industry.
In September 2018, Naren sold the business to Global Radio and left the business at the end of April 2020. In 2021, Naren launched Geoprove a verification tool for location based mobile advertising.
Naren is passionate about improving ethnic diversity in the Media sector. In 2018 he founded the social enterprise Media for All, which provides mentorship and support for Black, Asian and other ethnic minority talent in Media and Advertising. He volunteers as part time CEO and is a sponsor of Media for All.
Naren was awarded the World Outdoor Leadership award in 2018. He is regularly featured in Campaign magazine and has appeared on the BBC News.
Naren won the Media Brand of the Year as well as the Commercial Sales team of the year during his time at Primesight and has been a finalist for the Media leader award.
